Dakota Wickard Recommended for Lincoln Middle School Assistant Principal

(Pending Board Approval)

Following a thorough application and interview process, Dakota Wickard was selected to be recommended for hire as Lincoln Middle School Assistant Principal beginning July 1, 2026. This recommendation will be presented to the Pullman School District Board of Directors as part of the Consent Agenda at the upcoming Regular Board Meeting on June 10, 2026.

Ms. Wickard brings a strong background in educational leadership, student support, and school operations, along with deep roots in the Pullman community as a Pullman High School graduate. She most recently served as Athletic Director in the St. Maries Joint School District, where she provided administrative leadership for daily operations, student behavior supports, staff supervision, budgeting, scheduling, and district-wide athletic programming.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Wickard served as a Health and Physical Education teacher in St. Maries, where she designed and delivered student-centered instruction across multiple grade levels and courses. She also has experience in program coordination and student supervision through her work with Lewis-Clark State College Kids’ College, as well as coaching experience at the middle school and community levels.

Ms. Wickard holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from Eastern Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Secondary Education from Lewis-Clark State College.
